Daniel Friedman
Daniel Friedman

 

Currently based in Portland, Oregon, Daniel Friedman is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio, where he taught for more than twenty years.

Friedman spent a sabbatical year studying documentary film and video production in the Communications Department at the University of Michigan. A graduate of Antioch College, Friedman earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio State University and did his psychology internship at the University of Washington Medical School, Seattle. He has held positions at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and Boston State Hospital and has been a visiting scholar at the Hastings Center for Biomedical Ethics.

Friedman's media work has been supported by an NEA/AFI Great Lakes Regional Fellowship and several Ohio Arts Council grants. In addition to work in documentary film, he has done radio features as a freelance reporter for WOSU-AM, Columbus, Ohio and WYSO-FM, Yellow Springs, Ohio.

 

Sharon Grimberg
Sharon Grimberg

 

Sharon Grimberg has worked at CNN, produced science documentaries for The Discovery Channel, and done pieces for CNN, NPR, and The Guardian. Her work has been awarded grants from the Georgia Council for the Arts and the Women-in-Film Production Fund.

She grew up in Singapore and London and holds a Bachelor's degree from the London School of Economics and a Master's Degree in Communications from the University of Michigan.

Grimberg lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she is Series Editor for the PBS series, The American Experience.
